Why Customers Should Maintain Clean Exposed Overhead Structures

Why Customers Should Maintain Clean Overhead Structures

Exposed Overhead Structure need cleaned to prevent dirt and debris from entering the manufacturing process. The reason that Exposed Overhead Structures, beam, pipes, duct systems, roof decking, trusses and other equipment contained in the overhead structure becomes unsightly and dirty is because of the HVAC System that’s pulling the air from the area into the system and out.  That coupled with the outside air quality, say from construction in the area can contribute to the air that is being sucked into the HVAC System.  As filters become clogged with dirt and debris, it works less efficiently and, causes less of it to be filtered and more of the dirt and debris to be blown over the exposed structure.

Think about this!  Your HVAC System is designed to exchange the air in your facility about once every 6 minutes, that's 240 times a day that the air from the system is swirling around the dirt, odors, grease fumes and other pollutants from the bottom of your floors to the top of your overhead structures, that's a Whopping 87,600 times a year.  Now, Times that by the number of years you have waited to address the overhead structure.

As the Overhead Exposed Structure fills up with pollutants and dirt on the structure, it becomes bonded to the surfaces, once the dirt is bonded to the surfaces, less of it is being caught by the structure and more of it is landing on your merchandise and equipment below, causing more dusting by your employees and staff on the merchandise below or worst yet, imperfections in your manufacturing molds and production quality control.

If you are a manufacturing facility and you’re responsible for a clean environment in order to assure that your product is free of defects you need to realize that keeping the overhead exposed structure clean will create a better finish product for both you and your manufacturing customer.  Customer Quality Assurance it very important to retaining your customers.  If you have machines that are sensitive to dust and debris, call us now and lets us maintain these overhead structure areas, or if you are a retail establishment or restaurant, keeping a clean health environment for your customer and shoppers is a must, so call us today at  877-763-1471 or email us at [email protected].
